Job Description
Apparent Source is currently looking for a programmer/ designer to join our development team. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and documenting software for both client and internal projects. Duties include maintaining existing ASP & PHP projects as well as developing new systems, creating front-end presentation layers (HTML, ASP, PHP, Flash) as well as developing mid and back-end services and systems (SQL, MySQL, system-scripting), and providing system administration and support for both internal and production servers.
Job Qualifications
2+years experience in web applications development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Excellent PHP and/or ASP programming skills
Extensive knowledge of HTML/CSS and page layout
Comprehensive knowledge of SQL & MySQL database systems
Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills
Strong sense of self-motivation
Ability and willingness to learn quickly
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Directly related education and/or experience may be considered in place of the above requirements.
